  • Dental Implants, anyone with experience here?

    Hello all,
I am scheduled to have 2 dental implants and I am a bit worried. I have had two done before but it was before I had my ICD. There were no ill effects and everything went smoothly. I had IV sedation. My oral surgeon now said he wanted to have written permission from my cardiologist to do the procedure. The response from the Pacemaker clinic was that the drill might interfere with the Electromagnetic field and cause a shock to me but said go ahead (?).
As a result the oral surgeon does not want to do IV sedation but only freezing. He said so he can see how I am feeling, I presume to see if I am being shocked, Well, the thought of dental implants with only freezing is awful but the possibility of a shock is terrifying.
Does anyone have any comments or experience with this?
    thank you
