  • Pulmonary Vein Isolation Ablation with a LAA closure

i was not able to have my Watchman this past April after going into surgery because my opening was too big. I had all the pre tests but they were uncertain about the size of the opening. Now i am being considered for a Pulmonary Vein Isolation Ablation with a LAA closure. I can't take anticoagulant's because of history of severe GI bleeding. I see Dr. Hazeday Central Florida Cardiology Group & he is thinking at sending me to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fl to see Dr. Miles. So my questions are: 1) has anyone had these two procedures 2) does anyone know Dr. Miles from Gainesville, Fl. If done here it is out of network for me but Dr. Hazeday isn't comfortable with anyone from my area (Orlando). I am trying to get pre authorization from my insurance. Thanks ….Sandi
