  • Introductions...Meet Kelly!!

For those of you who attended the HCMA meeting you met Kelly DeRosa - For the rest of you...
Kelly joined the HCMA team the end of May...just before all the maddness began! Poor Kelly started the week before the golf outing and 2 weeks before the meeting - during which time my father-in-law passed away. Talk about jumping into the fire!
Kelly lives here in Rockaway TWP. NJ - and is the mom of 3 kids (twin boys and a daughter). She will be taking care of administrative functions in the office. Kelly can help you with membership information, orders of HCMA items and renewals. She will also be maintaining our database so if you have an address change you can speak to her and she will update your file. Kelly is not a medical person and is just learning about HCM - she can just about pronounce hypertrophic cardiomyopathy!
We are happy to welcome her to the HCMA and I am sure you will find her very helpful.
    Sincerely,
    Lisa Salberg

    Lisa,

Has Ellen left? Or do we now have two in the office??? (Besides you, that is.)

Welcome, Kelly!!! Eventually you'll master the "lingo." In the meanwhile, be prepared to ask, "What does that mean?" And remember that anytime we explain something it helps us to better understand it ourselves.

Opps... that was at the meeting too. Ellen a good friend and neighbor has too much on her plate to continue with us at this time. Ellen runs her own business http://www.everythingequine.net and has a son with an active schedule. So yes Ellen has moved on, we are sad to see her go after over a year and a half..but we do wish her much luck and continued success in her efforts. She still checks up on the board from time to time and is never far away in a pinch
