    Re: Happy Fathers Day!

My father's day present came yesterday. My 27-year-old daughter, my only child, got her echo results yesterday, and she does NOT have HCM.

I am glad to hear that her echo is clear at this time! Please remember with all the new data we are learning that screenings should continue every 5 years for adults...we are seeing more "adult onset" of HCM.

I wish you a very happy fathers day and my sincere hopes for a life time of clear echos for your daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is great news!! But, as Lisa said--continue the screenings. My husband was diagnosed at age 30. Have a wonderful Father's Day!
