  • what to do?

Hi, I just have a few questions. I live in Alaska and will be in Chicogo in August. What would be the best place to go see a HCM doctor? I am not out of Alaska much. So if I am out and can go to my sisters wedding and see a doctor on one trip it would be great.

I don't even know if I nead to see a HCM doc. I am 42 and have an ICD. I have had it for about 14 months now. It has zapped me 2 times. I take a small amount of toprol xl, 25 MG 2 times a day. I am still able to work and only have SOB and short runs of V-tach. ( most of the time, one of my zaps was for a sustained run of V-tach)

I am looking to get my tickets next month. So any information and advice would be greatfully recived.

Donna, this would be a great opportunity for you. Call Lisa at the HCMA office or PM her and get some suggestions. Glad you will be able to make it to the wedding! Are you in the wedding party? I'm sure you don't get to see your family enough. I am excited about my niece's wedding in Wisconsin in Sept. Best wishes. Linda
