Hi Lisa, Igot a synthetic mitral valve. They were going to do ablations in my right atreim, but they said it was to sqiushed. (exact words) They had also considered replacing my aortic valve, but determined it to risky given the condition of my right atriem. They said that my new valve is good for 30 years. I can live with that. thanks
Dennis
I'm glad you are feeling better. By "more" --do you mean that they were going to do a myectomy but didn't? Sorry, I'm confused. But very glad you are recovering well!
HI ,everyone, I had my surgery on aprill 3rd, spent 11 days in NEMC. I am improving every day , and the only chest pain I have is from my incision.
They replaced my mitral valve, I was told after surgery that any more would have been to risky. So for know we,ll hope for the best and take it one day at a time. Thank you all for your support.
