hey everyone went to cardiologist today because i started having chest pains, headaches and shortness of breathe again after 2 months of being ok. he suggests surgery but wants me to see dr lever for his opinion so i am off to cleveland clinic tomorrow evening to see dr lever on friday morning. so i will let you guys know when i know if i have to have surgery or not.

Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
Currently not obstructed
Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
