    Hi everyone just wanted to let Lisa and everyone know that Michael was in the hospital for 8 day's due to fluid build up around his heart he went to his Cardologist and he himself performed an echo on Michael and said look Liz there is something I think you should see he went on saying see here all the black I think it is fluid build up so Dr.Achtel put Michael in the hospital and kept a very close watch on him saturday DR.aCTEL TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO DRAIN THE FLUID FROM AROUND HIS HEART THEY DRAINED a total of 1400 cc which is more then a litter then on monday they drained another 400 cc then they decided to take the tube out of him .
    Any way's after all that I am very happy to say mike is now home

        Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
        lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
        Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
        Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
        Currently not obstructed
        Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
