Lisa, reading between the lines here, but I think he's referring to gradients. (muscular pressure)

        Re: Muscular Pressure to LAD

I believe Deniz is referring to myocardial bridging because he referred to a post I had previously on myocardial bridging and its significance. Reenie had responded with a definition of what it is but no one responded as to its significance on HOCM or whether or not it (the bridging) had any effect on prognosis or symptoms. The specialist I saw never mentioned the bridging that showed up on a cath report but my regular cardiologist saw it as a significant finding.

                Re: Muscular Pressure to LAD

                Hi Deniz,
The LAD is the left anterior descending artery, a branch of the left coronary artery. It supplies the front of the heart with oxygenated blood. Although not seen that often, it is most often considered a normal finding in some individuals. However, from what I have been able to gather, there are mixed reports as to its significance. I have found some info at www.biomedcentral.com/pubmed/7900614 or www.biomedcentral.com/pubmed/2759120. Maybe that will help some.
