I have been a long term member of HCMA, but this is my first time on this Forum. I have been treated for HCM since 1997 and just received my fourth pacemaker/AICD unit. I would love to hear from anyone, especially HCM patients in the Maryland area.
Wayne , welcome to the message board. You must certainly hold the record for pacer/AICD implants! I just posted a message about a potential meeting in the DC area. Are you and family interested? Linda
Hey, Wayne! I'm in the Maryland area (Columbia to be specific). I am seeing a cardiologist at Johns Hopkins. I'm curious as to why you've had so many implants.
I was pleased to see that there might be a meeting in the Maryland/DC area. Maybe we'll see each other there!
wayne, I am also in the D.C.area.I am looking forward to talking, meeting fellow HCM ers in this area ... hopefully at the meeting. I ve noticed more and more postings from people in this area. I also see a doc at Hopkins.. W
Hi guys, in northern Va I know a place that has excellent crabcakes. It's between Manassas and Warrenton on Hwy 29, just south of I-66. I forget the name, but when getting off 66, go south on 29. It'll be on the right. Haven't lived there in about 4 years, but can't imagine it going out of business. I think it was called the Crab Shack. Wish I could join you guys. Enjoy!
