I have lived with HCM since I was 10. I am considering the myectomy surgery and was told there can be a possibility of having a pacemaker afterwards. I have a bundle branch block already on the opposite side of where the surgery is to take place. Has anyone else had the myectomy and ended up with a pacemaker?
