Hi, my name is Virginia Johnston. I was diagnosised with HOCM last November and had a myomectomy in December. I am a 21 year old senior nursing student at Kent State University. I am a part of the Honor's college and for my senior project I wrote a paper about my experiences with HOCM. My instructor is going to attempt to publish it in the American Journal of Nursing. I felt if this was published, others with HOCM may want to read it to know they are not alone. I will try to keep things updated here.
