just wanted to add my 2 cents...
I reached 185. My cardiologist at the time looked at me and said, "Cynthia, you have to lose the weight"... I did. I joined Weight Watchers. It was awesome...i was never hungry and ate well. You get all kinds of tips at the meetings and everyone is so supportive. That was over 3 years ago and unfortunately I have put most of it back on. I'm cutting down since I've had my first CHF episode a few months ago. I guess that main issue is watching your sodium...it's amazing how many drinks and foods contain so much sodium...anyway, I plan on going back to Weight Watchers because it did work for me.
