We have rescheduled our Central High School Heart Screening event. We have had more doctors come forward to be involved in our events, therefore, this event date will remain solid. If you live in the Phoenix area or know people in the Phoenix area please encourage their involvement.
We could use help as one of our "regular folk" volunteers. There are many positions available: Registration, Greeters, Patient Liaison, Exam Table Helpers to name a few. Plus, you can help us spread the word. Print out this announcement, post it, hand it out, email it to your friends, and encourage young people between the ages of 14 & 40 to have their hearts screened for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) - FREE!
Let me know if you, your friends and family would be available to help out!
Date Place
April 5 Central High School 4025 N. Central (North Gym), Phoenix, AZ
Saturday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
If you know cardiologists in the area - we could always use more doctor connections. Echocardiogram technicians have been very supportive in our efforts and we have connections through the Arizona Echo Society. We would like to get more nurses involved for our "blood pressure" stations. Do you know anyone here in Phoenix-send them our way!
Also, check out our web-site (www.AnthonyBates.org). We have a new page promoting FREE CPR Training. The Mesa Community CPR Team with Allen Bates (Anthony's Dad) are offering a CPR training program for Mesa, Arizona residents. The Anthony Bates Foundation is an advocate for heart health and heart safety in many ways! CPR saves lives...so can you if you are trained!
I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming event or the HCMA Annual Meeting in June. Your involvement in our cause will make a difference in many lives. Help us have fun and save lives! Let me know if our calendars match.
Very Sincerely Yours,
Sharon Bates
