    [6 Weeks and All's Well]

    Author: Robert Hartwell (---.focal5.interaccess.com)

    Date: 12-27-02 20:19

Today, I had my 6 week post surgery check-up with my local cardiologist and the news is all good. I have had all restrictions removed and can drive once again. I currently feel little to no pain, and then only in the incision area when twisting, or coughing. I have been extremely fortunate to have no post surgery complications and am just now starting to appreciate the benefits of having the surgery.

In January, I will be returning back to work, and will also be starting cardio-rehab. On January 22, I will be heading back to Cleveland Clinic for a post -op review with Dr. Lever. My last hurdle will be getting all of the bills sorted out!

Although I have said it before, Thank-you everyone on this board for the support and messages that I have received. It made all the difference in the world.

    Bob Hartwell

P.S. Sarah, don't forget that we have a lunch date in January!

Bob, great to hear the recuperating is going so well! And as you mentioned, now that you are well into recuperation you will start to feel the benefits of the surgery.

Dear Bob- I'm glad to hear you are doing so well. I am at 2 weeks post op as of yesterday. I'm still pretty sore, but looking forward to the benefits with anticipation. Happy Holidays. Susan
