[waiting for echo results]

Just went to my cardiologist yesterday. My EKG was unchanged from the last one I had. She listened to my heart and lungs and said that she didn't hear anything different...the lungs were clear. I've been on Lasix since Monday. I had what they thought was bronchitis a few weeks ago...the doctor said that bronchitis "mimics" congestive heart failure in that you get the shortness of breath, fluid build up, wheezing...I'm hoping nothing has changed since my last echo...I'm a wreck. The worst thing is waiting for the doctor to call with results. She did seem to perk up when my husband informed her that I have been on Vioxx since the summer...I've been off it since Monday....hanging in there I guess

Cynthia,
Keep hanging in there and stay positive. Good things come to those who wait right? Let us know what the results are when you know.

actually, I'm feeling much like my old self today. I have called the doctor's office 3 times in the last couple of days...still waiting for the echo results I had done last Friday...nerve-racking to say the least. The nurse didn't know if my cardiologist had at least gave it a preliminary look...I thought I would know something by now. Thank you for asking
