    [sick or symptomatic?]

Ok - I know I should go see a Doc but just humor me and tell me something else . . .

I have been asymptomatic, diagnosed 2 years ago, ICD implanted due to family history.

I had strep about 3 weeks ago, my GP gave me mega dose of antibiotics my kids and wife have all been sick - still are - I've been going to work had a three day meeting in Vegas late nights the works (two weeks ago) - and still don't feel so good light headed, tired, a bit dizzy (worn out) a little bit of a sore throat and a cough.

Do I tough this out some more? Is it just a stubborn flu bug or is my HCM finally affecting me . . .

I'm scheduled for ACL surgery next wed - doubt I could get into my cardio in the next 3-4 days.

What to do, what to do?

    Dear Greg,

They won't do surgery if you are sick. Call your regular doctor and see what they can do for you.

Hello, your probaley just sick. You should allways get a flu shot if you have HCM. I dont know were you live but here in jersey, everyone is sick. I work with the public & I hope I dont get any thing. My wife just went to the docs after suffering from those symptoms for three weeks or so. I think you'll be ok. Hope you get better.
