    [Autopsy Results]

    Author: Krista Donnelly (198.76.142.---)

    Date: 12-04-02 05:46

I just thought I'd update everyone on my son Seamus. He ended up in the ICU back in June when we found him not breathing one morning. In the ICU, they did an echo on him and discovered he had moderate septal hypertrophy. Tests for metabolic disorders came back negative. Since then, both my husband and myself were screened, and everything looked normal for us. We finally got the autopsy results back yesterday and the medical examiner ruled it a SIDS death. So it looks like everyone agreed that the problems with his heart weren't enough to have caused his death. Since I've posted about him here before, I thought you might appreciate hearing how it ended.

Thank you for your update, Krista.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your little one is safe in heaven with God and my son, Anthony. May the peace of Christmas be with you and your family throughout this first holiday season without Seamus.

If there is anything I can do to comfort you and yours, please let me know.

God's Blessing to you and Seamus!

    Love,

    Sharon Bates

    Anthony's Mom
