Hi, I have seen a lot of people mention things like SOB, and gradients. I don't know what either one of these things are. Can someone tell me what they are and to find out if I have one or what it is.

Dear Donna,
We will soon be adding a glossary to the web site. In the mean time, sob stands for shortness of breath. Gradient describes the pressure difference between the blood in the heart vs. the blood vessels. Anything over 50 is a candidate (probably) for a myectomy.
