    [Cleveland bound!]

    Hi Gang,

Just a note to let you know that Tom ('hubby) leaves for Cleveland tomorrow. His appointment for testing/evaluation is with Dr. Lever on Wednesday. I've given him the 'heads up' on other HCM'ers being there, too!

Unfortunately, I will not be going with him - for various reasons -a tough decision, but one we chose to make. It's difficult for me dealing with not being at his side (I always am with such things) but what is important is that he IS going and will finally be receiving some quality care.

The good thing is that he has 2 sisters and his parents close by, so he won't be alone. They are helping with transportation, providing a place to stay and will also be a support to him.

We will stay in close contact via cell phones - (thank goodness for free long distance!)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - THANK YOU to Lisa and this web board, for guiding us in the right direction!

    I'll keep you posted!

    Karla -

your Welcome and I wish you all a successful and stress free experience... I know you all will worry...but a positive attitude and good doctors will be what makes the difference.... I know you have the good docs... just keep that attitude in check

    My best to all!
