    Feb.3 is the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day, to raise awareness of heart disease in women. Heart disease is now the leading cause of death in women. More women die of heart disease than the next three causes combined, including all forms of cancer.       I'll never forget Wear Red for Women. When I went to CCF for my eval, everyone was wearing red and the guys were wearing the "red dress" pin. I couldn't figure that out until I got into the exam room and saw the poster. I'll never forget the importance of it and that was 4 years ago.

        I was part of the AHA PR program in LA some years ago and we lit a building with a 13-story red heart.

            This is a forum to support individuals and families dealing with the diagnosis of hypertrophy cardiomyopathy, though many people with have diabetes coincidentally, diabetes does not cause nor does cause diabetes
