  • Okay, now I know it's us...

We come out to Houston in August and a hurricane hits Galveston for the first time in 25 years or so after we had joked about the possibility of our being caught in one, so I think, "Wow, what bad luck!"

The boys ask me if it snows in Houston (because they adore snow), so I go online (because I have no idea) and find that it snows every four or so years in Houston, and by snow, they mean "flurry of rain/ice mix pretending to be snow." I have to say no, don't expect any snow this year.

So what a surprise when we open the door tonight at around 7pm and it's snowing like crazy - and here it is 10:45pm and it's still going with an inch or so on the ground. It hasn't snowed this early in December in Houston since 1944.

So now I'm sitting here thinking, "Cure HCM, Cure HCM, Cure HCM.." Well, I can hope, right?
