    Grandson

    I have some bad news concerning my oldest grand so he had to have surgery this afternoon he dropped something on his foot they have to do a patial amputation on his 3rd toe on his right foot he is still in surgery and i will let you know something when i know it, he is 10 years old

    I'm sorry to read about your grandson. Adults have a difficult time coping with something like this. My heart goes out to your grandson.

      3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

        Shirley, I hope your wait is over by now. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Like Reenie said, I hope he is not having a lot of pain. We hurt right along with these little guys. Linda

          I hope by now your grandson is out of surgery and is well on his way to recovery. He will be in my prayers.

            My grandson is home i was shocked they sent him home tonight but he is home and is ok just missing the top digit of his toe

                Pam the doc said in about 3 weeks he should be his old self again, i took him some Ice Cream today and he loves beef jerky so i bought some of that too, take care and i hope he gets to go to see his momin Texas soon we changed his flight date to the Christmas holiday's so he is not too happy about that he was suposed to leave this Sunday
