I hope everyone had a joyous Christmas. I am so thankful to be able to look back and say, "I made it!"

I'd like to thank you all for being so helpful and there to listen when I need time to talk.

I'd especially like to thank Lisa for helping me to understand my heart condition is not as rare as I had thought.

I pray for each and everyone here to find comfort and happiness in the years to come. You then can join me when I say, "I made it". So much depends on your state of mind.

Although I have not met anyone of you in person, I do feel you nearby. I do believe us with HCM have a connection other than heart disease.

Many of us have large hearts because of our condition. I think ours are large because is filled with compassion and understanding. Some have been there, done that and can share their experience.

      God Bless

Here I sit at work on Sunday morning thinking how unlucky I am that I have to work. But as I think about it, I'm really very lucky. Last year at this time I didn't know for sure if I would be around to see another Christmas. With the support from this terrific web site and a little help from some great people at the Cleveland Clinic, " I'M HERE " for another year.

Now that I got that out, I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and are going to have a Happy New Year

Just in case I am indisposed at the time, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter, A Happy Passover, and a safe and sane Fourth of July.

For those planning marriage during this period – May all your troubles be little ones – but not too soon.

For those planning divorce during this period – May you find a way to bury the hatchet – but not in each other’s heads.

For those planning to be rid of me for six months – lots of luck, but no way. Just covering the bases.
