Happy Halloween to you too Shirley.

My son and 1 daughter were downtown in Salem Massachusetts last night ( The witch capital of the USA). Your daughter and grandaughter would have felt very at home there.
They are heading home as Halloween brings 100's of thousands of people to Salem each year and they will get stuck there in the mahem. Sarah is lucky to live so close to the festivity and all.

I love Salem it is such an interesting town - my brother in law Kevin is a son of a which - he can trace himself to Rebecca Nurse the last woman hung as a which. He was origionally from WakeField Ma - now lives here in NJ.

Becca will be dressing as the a "haunted horse back rider" - the kid has an odd sense of humor - she is wearing her riding gear and placing a rubber spike in her head!

      Happy Hauntings to All!!

well, we just got back from treat-or-treating....a beautiful night for it! My son was a dementor from Harry Potter's prisoner of Azkaban. I won't even tell you how much candy he has...let's just say his bag weighed about 20 lbs.! I'm glad I can't eat dark chocolate anymore! I did pick through and had some white chocolate Reese's peanut butter cups! yum!!

          Happy Halloween!

In our community we had Trick or Treat last Thursday. We had purchased over $1400.00 worth of candy to be given out to the children from the residents at the care community where I work. Do you know how much almost $1500.00 worth of candy looks like? Do you know how much work it takes to load that much candy into a van?! Then, to sort it out and put it into buckets?

I have such a sweet tooth. But, on Thursday I wasn't feeling well. I had TONS of candy all around me, and all I ate was 1 bite size Snicker's.
          What a waste!

We had our celebration last night. I had an Air Force girl, a mime, and a cowboy. I may edit to show pictures later after I've uploaded them.
