    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

      HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

      My personal goal is to have one **** of a 50th B-day party someday - SO hats off my dear and Have a GREAT DAY!!!

      Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
      lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
      Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
      Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
      Currently not obstructed
      Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

        Hey Glen,
        I wanted to surprise you with the cake, so I hid it in my back pocket – only I forgot and sat down. To tell you the truth, your cake didn’t feel so good, - but happy birthday anyway.

        You remind me of an adult psych course I took in night college. We were all married, and one day the professor stated that the frequency which a person has sex has a direct bearing on their happiness. To prove his point he asked for a show of hands. First he asked for people who had sex three times a week or more, and sure enough all the class clowns raised their hands. Then he asked who had sex at least once a week, and the generally happy folks raised their hands. Then he asked those who had sex one or more times a month, and the grouches raised their hands.

        Finally he asked who had sex less then once a month, and one guy raised his hand, and he was giggling to himself. This seemed very odd so the professor asked, If you don’t mind would you tell us how often you do have sex. The man said, Only once a year, - and he continued to giggle. The professor said, I don’t understand. You say you only have sex once a year, yet you are very happy. How come? The man smiled, giggled and said, “Tonight’s the night!”

              Burt, how'd you know, you truely are psychic, I can't wait untill Friday for my annual.
              Every great thing that has ever happened since the beginning of time has started as a single thought in someones mind.

                  Here’s looking in you kid. You think he’s looking for some cake too?

                  Last time I met the doctor who did my colonoscopy I said, “Howdy Doc. - Do you mind if we don’t shake hands?”

                  Anyway, have a great Birthday – and lots and lots more.
