    Hi everyone,
I haven't checked yet but I hope Florida is still intact and no horrific things happened.
Just wanted to tell you to all have a safe and happy holiday weekend. I will be on and off the board , probably off a lot more then usual for me over the next 2 days.
I will be busy getting my son packed up, moved in and comfy at his college campus . We are almost ready for the Sunday move in, just hope he stays home long enough to PACK his clothes as opposed to taking them in what he feels would be fine, a pile of mess.
Also although my daughter is packed and has mostly moved into her apartment on the north shore it will be goodbye to her for awhile. She and I have grown even closer this year following my surgery and our bond is a different kind of special.
Oh dear what will I do with all the quiet?
So if I miss anything on the board it won't be for long.
    Have a Great Weekend all.
    Pam

    Re: The next 2 days

Dear Pam – and her Pamily,
I remember when the last of our kids moved out of the house, and serenity came back in. It took us close to twelve minutes to become accustomed to it. If you put something down, when you come back – it’s still there; if you buy yourself some food treat and store it in the refrigerator, when you come back nobody has eaten it; and maybe best of all, when you clean and straighten a room, it stays clean and straight.

Your kids will always be your kids; - they just won’t be under foot and/or driving you crazy anymore – well, mostly. And don’t forget, you now have a much larger family to look after – Miss fancy pants moderator. Go, settle them into their new places, then come back, kick off your shoes, and settle in at your terminal. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of you real soon again. (Speaking of seeing a lot of you – Don’t you think it’s time you posted an Avatar? I’d really like to ‘see’ you.)
    Burt
