I know that some of you have been wondering why we haven't heard from "Frosty". I am sad to share the news I just received from her niece. Marian passed away on September 6th after a long battle with several disease processes. As you know, she was more than a private person and very strong willed and at times, cranky!! When I spoke to her niece, I told her of her aunt's involvement on the message board and that she had a network of support with her fellow HCMers. She had no idea this board even existed, so I was able to share with her that she wasn't alone. It made her very happy and gave her comfort knowing this. She has given me permission to share this news with you.

I will always remember Marian for her "to the point" comments, calling it like it is and making me think outside of my beliefs.

To you, Marian, you will not be forgotten.........you will always be in this thick heart of mine !!

So sorry to hear this. Marian started out on this board seeming pretty frosty, because she was direct. Many of us grew to really value her comments and to care about her.
      Myectomy on Feb. 5, 2007.
