    I remember that survey. Very interesting and important subject matter. Glad there are scholars out there who want to improve our medical experiences.

    Thanks! My field of study is health communication, and, broadly, my areas of interest are patient-physician communication during the clinical interaction, and family communication concerning genetic risk disclosures.

    I (and our research team at Wayne State University, with the help of Lisa) posted a survey on the board several years ago about this.

    Comps Update!

    Just wanted to thank everyone for well-wishes and support that I received when I was dying the death of comps last month. I am proud to announce that I am now a doctoral candidate (yay!) but that I also plan to pursue the remainder of my degree with balance and consideration for my health.

    As I look back on this journey, I cannot help but tear up a bit as I remember all of the support that I've received from Lisa, the moderators and the members.
