  • I survived!

    My knee was replaced 9 days ago and, so far, so good. As those of you who've had this procedure know, it's now an up and down pain thing, some good pain days, some bad pain days. Today's shaping up to be a bad one since the physical therapist is on her way. thank you to one and all who sent prayers and good wishes,,

    Good luck with the physical therapy. It will be difficult but so worth it!

    Husband has HCM.
    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

      Glad to hear it went well -- I was just wondering about you yesterday!

      My own experience with PT (for injuries -- no joint replacement) has been that they can be very good, but, yup, sometimes it leads to more pain in the short run.
