    Not sure if you have seen this before. For all the people that are PRE (and POST) myectomy, would it not be great to be able to see how it actually gets done? They keep it in their archives so people can go back later and check it out again.

    Maybe you can ask the people up north to participate in one of these?

    Just a thought.

    Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
    lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
    Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
    Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
    Currently not obstructed
    Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

        I've looked but can't seem to find a myectomy on this site?? Is there one or just general cardiac surgery?

          There is not myectomy on there right now. But it would be great if our great friend up north would help get one on there.
