It is very common to see Glycogen-storage disease diagnosed as HCM, it can take months to tell the difference. Typically only in children that you will see Glycogen-storage. If you have a family history of HCM then Glycogen-storage disease is not something you need to be thinking about.
There are new treatments for Glycogen-storage disease and it is important to diagnoses it properly and begin appropriate treatment - it is frustrating that it can take months to know for sure sometimes.

lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
Currently not obstructed
Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)
