  • Medicare Advantage Plan - Acceptance by COE

I will be starting a Humana Advantage Plan and see that my COE(UT Health Science Center Cardiology) does not accept it for some reason.
I have not contacted them directly nor contacted Dr Marc Feldman my HCM specialist about this yet.
    What are my options??
Can I get them to bill me directly at a discount?
Can I Somehow get them to honor me under this very good plan and make up any billing difference individually?

    Hi Rob,
All of your suggestions are possible, but I can't say how likely it is that they'd agree to special arrangements. Why don't you call the HCMA office and make an appointment to talk about this? They've been able to give useful advice on many such issues. The number is (973) 983-7429.
