    How do you avoid weight gain when on a beta blocker. Currently perscribed with Toprol-25mg

    I am on a beta blocker and have found that getting as much exercise as possible and watching the calories works for me. Now to work on losing a little weight

      They (whoever THEY are) claim that BB's don't affect weight, but we all know it does. The larger the dosage, the more you need to watch, calories and excercise. Its doable, not fun, but doable.
