I never met Lisa Inman in person, but like many on this board I feel like we've been friends for ever. I try to tell myself to never take things for granted, like friendship. Lisa will always be the first friend that I lost to this terrible illness, HCM.

Richard, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers...

I am at a loss for words. It seems like yesterday she was wishing me happy birthday and letting me know all will be ok. Her kindness radiated to everyone she touched not only here but through the noble profession of teaching. My teachers have been my heros, It saddens me of the many young minds she has touched thatwill not have that beloved teacher to go back to to remind her what a great infulence she was.

Heartfelt prayers and thoughts to Richard and to all of those precious hearts she touched.

              Mary S.

                  Richard, Family, and Friends,

Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of Lisa. Your family will be in our prayers. We will also pray for the children she taught as losing a teacher at such a young age is certain to be a great shock.

I was so sorry to hear this news this morning as I just got back from China for the summer.

                  Love and Prayers,

I am so sorry to hear about this, Richard. I didn't "talk" to Lisa much through the board, but she was one of the first to welcome me here and offered her kind words when I found out about the transplant.

I offer my condolence to you and your family during this difficult time.

I have just spoken to Lisa's sister Lynn. She wanted to tell us that if she was told she needed a myectomy tomorrow she would have the Mayo team do it without hesitation. She is extremely thankful for the high quality of care her sister received. The complications that took Lisa away from us are very rare and all that could be done was done.

Lynn is an amazingly strong lady and I know you join me in sending our support to her during this difficult time. She advised me that emails could be sent to Lisa's email account for Richard as they shared the email address.

                        Best wishes,
