    Re: Heading to Mayo

On my way to Mayo 7/21, Tests and Dr. Ommen 7/22. My one year post re-do myectomy date is 7/23.....Although my pounding heart, chest pain and arrhythmias are almost none existent now and my LVOT gradient near zero....I am having fairly severe fatigue. Deteriorating over the last few months to having to rest after each small task......pack a box, rest, carry in a bag of groceries, rest, eat lunch, rest......Local Cardiologist is baffled. So glad to be going to see the experts. Will have regular tests plus an exercise VO2 stress test which may give some answers.......I'll let you know what I learn about HCM and fatigue....seems to be one of its most elusive symptoms.
