    Anyone else? It's my birthday . . . I get cake, candles, and an echo all in one package!

    Myectomy on Feb. 5, 2007.

    I'll be there September 30th for testing. I hope the echo is just routine check-up and you are doing well.
    At least 5 years of symptoms.
    07/24/14: Age 45, diagnosed with HCM w/ obstruction.
    09/30/14: Tested at Cleveland Clinic (Ohio).
    January 2015: Approved for surgery.
    03/05/15: Pending myectomy & possible mitral valve replacement at Cleveland Clinic

        Nothing worse than celebrating in a paper gown (been there, done that)!
        As you know, my B-day is the day before and having spent one B-day at a COE is enough! At least you have relatives (sister?) nearby right?

        After much research, I had a Myectomy @ Mayo for my 50th Birthday '08
        Quietly going insane . . .

          Now don't cut them short; CCF now has cloth gowns with original prints designed by Diane Von Furstenberg, so now Gordon can dress up in a lot more than his birthday suit! Gordon, I hope you can have a happy birthday with great test results.
