    Nine years ago today I received the gift of life........a new heart. It is hard to believe it has been that long. I feel great and am so grateful to my donor and family. To those of you waiting hang in there. Your day will come.

    Diagnosed in 1977, Myectomy in 1981 @ Mayo Rochester
    ICD&Pacemaker 1996
    Heart transplant March 19, 2004 @ Mayo Rochester

      Congratulations on 9 years! I never realized that the anniversary of your receipt of a new heart is just one day earlier than that of my granddaughter! She will celebrate 4 years tomorrow and is doing VERY well. Congratulations once again!
