    Re: Edema post transplant

Chris, I take 20 mg of Lasix daily. I really have no edema anymore unless I go off the Lasix a couple of days or sit with my feet dangling for extended period of time. All of my abdominal fluid issues before transplant, this is a piece of cake. Some of the meds can cause swelling, Norvasc for bp comes to mind and of course the prednisone. How are you doing these days?

        Hi Chris-
Emily has not had any problems with fluid post-transplant. No Lasix since heart failure. I think this is just one of those things that varies a lot between people, but is fairly common.
