    I am graduating on friday June 10th yeah I am so happy I have waited for this day my whole life I never thought it would come I thought I was going to be dead by this time in my life expecially with my heart problem.
    I am so so happy I can't wait graduation is Friday night at 7:00 yea I want to be done with these stupid exam.

    Husband has HCM.
    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

      yeh. I am so happy for you. You grandrat and the 12th you leave to go to camp. Wow what a week. Can you wait or what.

          Myectomy 2-23-2004
          Husband: Ken
          Son: John diagnosed 2004
          Daughter: Janet (free of HCM)

          Grandchildren: Drew 15,Aaron 13,Karen 9,Connor 9

            You did it!! CONGRATULATIONS!! Enjoy your graduation, I can still recall my HS graduation like it was yesterday, it is really a day you will never forget.

            Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
            lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
            Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
            Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
            Currently not obstructed
            Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

              thats so kool!! , hope u have a great graduation, that must be a great feeling, i have my graduation cuming up soon well at the end of the year i so cant wait been thou so much in skool that i just cant wait 2 leave ,

              I was diagnosedwith HCM at 6.
              Went into Atrial fibrillation so had a ICD put in at 16
              Went into Heart failure at 17
              Got a heart transplant at 21(2009)

                Have a great time tomorrow on your big day! Enjoy every second, cause it only happens once.

                Remember that the future is wide open for you now. You can be anything you want to be, regardless of this disease. Listen to your heart, don't let anything hold you back, and live your dreams. The time is now!
