I have been on cruches for a week now and today I started getting chest pains and some tightness in the chest I am also very shakey are these things to be worried about? I am so worried that these are bad signs.
The only way to know what is going on is to give your doctor a call and see what they say. They may want you to come in and get checked out. Probably just an EKG, but better safe than sorry.
I hope you feel better. Have you had enough to drink? (water, I mean) and do you mean shakey like jitters or dizzy? If dizzy, you need to go to the doctor for sure.

Teri, I also have to say "ditto" to Sarah's response. In addition to that, think about things that are different for you since the crutches. Are you taking a new med for the pain/inflammation? Make sure you tell your doc about any of these issues when you call, even if they seem unimportant. Hope it resolves quickly, Linda
