    Hi Shirley,
I have taken fosamax for sometime and have never had any problems with it. My last dexiscan showed improved bone density in my back after taking fosamax for a couple of years.

I haven't had good results with Fosamax myself. I took Actonel first, which gave me flu like symptoms among other things. Then, Fosamax was doing weird things with me and I was too afraid to keep taking. So, now I'm on Miacalcin Nasal Spray and so far so good. I would just contact my doctor if the symptoms do not go away to be on the safe side. Not everyone can handle Fosamax. Hope you get to feeling better.
