has anyone experienced constipation on verapamil? Are there other calcium channel blockers that do NOT cause constipation?

I take diltiazem and it doesn't constipate me, like the verapamil did i couldn't take it they got me to 360mg and i said it is killing me and he said well you can't take this then, so talk to your doc we are miserable enough without having other problems, hope that helps

I used to have that problem for a while with the Verapamil, but I started drinking 8oz. of Sunsweet PlumSmart juice each morning. It's taken care of the problem, so I recommend giving that a try. However, I don't know if it's available everywhere yet, I think St. Louis was a test market for it. But, if you can find it, get it! It tastes pretty good, too.
