I everyone, I have some questions......... As I have said, I have been prescribed Cardizem which I believe is a calcium channel blocker. I have not taken it yet, before I do I would like to ask a few questions........
Does anyone know which medication is better for the Concentric or Restrictive Left Ventricular Hypertrophy --- Beta Blockers or Calcium Channel Blockers?
Which medication helps lessen the hearts workload the most?
(Please let me add, that I am very complicated.)
I have tried beta blockers and I felt very short of breath on them. I had asthma as a child and now the asthma is triggered by cats and certain pollen during the spring. Is a beta blocker not a good idea for me because of the history of asthma?
I keep thinking about what I am going to do in the spring time (I really weeze because of the pollen) and if my children bring home the chest flu this winter like they did last year, (they are ages 8 and 6 and are in elementary school and bring home every germ known to the human race!
).
Thank you all for any replies and information
