    Shirley ,
I call my 87 year old father when I can't remember the day . He always can find it and he feels good that I am confused.

    Re: Oops!

    Well I have a solution:

Use a med pack that has each day of the week. Maybe you will need several, as many of us take pills throughout the day. That is the only thing that stopped me from repeatedly making this oops. Of course you have to know what day of the week it is

    started a topic Oops!

    Oops!

    Hi everyone.

Well I literally "overdid" it this evening. Since I wake up really early I usually try to get to bed a bit earlier (like 9 or so). It dosen't do much for the night life or late night TV lineup, but I do sleep fairly well.

I am on 160 mgs of Beta-pace twice a day. The doses are to be 12 hours a part. I often lay my pill beside my bed so I can take it any time after 4:30 AM.

Last night I was especially tired and when I picked up my dose for this morning, I absent mindedly popped it right into got my mouth and swollowed it. I was almost asleep when my wife came to bed. That woke me up and I suddenly realized what I had done. I took this mornings dose only 5 hours after yesterday afternoons dose.

I was a little worried as my cardiologist once said, "We can up your dose because you have the ICD. At least we know it won't kill you." So I have not slept all that well as I kept wondering if my ICD was going to fire. But so far so good. I'll try to be more awake the next time. And I feel like I am getting sleep again. I'll try to go back to bed.

    Peace,

    Leon
