Re: lasix and verapamil
Hi Cynthia,
I’ve been taking both for years. In fact I saw my cardio today and he added another water pill – Metolazone – to be taken every third day, along with the Lasix. He said by itself it’s fairly mild, but in conjunction with the Lasix it’s much more effective. I still have this stupid water problem. This morning I had to squeeze the water out of my feet to put my shoes on, and my legs to above my knees feel like water balloons.
If you’re going to start Lasix take it early. I was told by a doctor that the effects last six hours, and it seems to work that way with me.

Re: lasix and verapamil
I would suggest you discuss this matter with your doctor and make sure it is the correct option for you. Dehydration and vasodialation are the areas of concern, please check with your doctor.
