  • Pancreatitis

My husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. Normally, this stems from alcohol abuse or gall bladder problems, neither being linked to my husband's condition. However, after researching this, I found that heart medications that lower your blood pressure can be the cause. He is currently on Toprol XL and recently had increased his dosage because of heart palpatations. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any recommendations. His regular physician is on sabatical leave so I kind of have to start all over with a new doctor Any help would be greatly appreciated.
