They started me on 120 mg. of verapamil just since this past Friday. I noticed that my pulse rate has increased (was on 50-100 mg. atenolol for several years prior). My pulse rate for many years has been 48-52. Not that it has increase by much...but it is around 62. Should I mention this or does a new drug take a while to "kick in" so to speak? They never mentioned anything about keeping tabs on my rate
