Re: coenzyme Q10
There's really not been any reliable scientific studies done on CoQ10, but you'll find some people on the board here, myself included, who swear by it. I started taking it as a means to help counteract the effects of beta blockers, and i believe i have received a great benefit from it. There are those however who have tried it with no apparent benefit."Some days you're the dog... some days you're the hydrant."

Re: coenzyme Q10
I have been taking it for several months now because of a couple meds I take that deplete it.
Over all I feel better, now I don't know if that is because of the CoQ10 or in my mind, but I believe it works so I'll continue to take it.
Jim, hows your staph infection? Have you beat it yet?Every great thing that has ever happened since the beginning of time has started as a single thought in someones mind.
So if you are capable of thought then you are capable of great things
Good luck and stay well.

Re: coenzyme Q10
Every few weeks this comes up. Co Q10 will not decrease hypertrophy in HCM. Some people take it and claim to feel better - although there is not a clear cut reason why - others have no imporvements in symptoms.
