    Hi I just wanted to do a quick up-date on my son Michael Phillips I know I have not posted for some time but here is what is happening .Michael was in the hospital a week ago this last friday he was not keeping any thing down at food down at all only liquid's so his cardiologist ordered an ultra sound and x-ray's and discovered he had begginning of gall stone's Michael was put in the hospital and the done more test some how a surgeon got called on his case he said after looking over all of Michael's test result's Michael's gallbladder was not working at all so he said that Michael had to have his gallbladder removed . So today we have to be at the hospital by 6:30 a.m surgery is sdupposed to start at 8:30 but who know's if it will start on time. Will you please keep Michael in your thaught's and prays.
    Oh by the way they are keeping Michael in the hospital tell tomarrow.I will keep you up dated.

    Liz, here's wishing that Michael has an uneventful surgery today.


    Husband has HCM.
    3 kids - ages 23, 21, & 19. All presently clear of HCM.

      Dx age 12 current age 46 and counting!
      lost: 5 family members to HCM (SCD, Stroke, CHF)
      Others diagnosed living with HCM (or gene +) include - daughter, niece, nephew, cousin, sister and many many friends!
      Therapy - ICD (implanted 97, 01, 04 and 11, medication
      Currently not obstructed
      Complications - unnecessary pacemaker and stroke (unrelated to each other)

          ICD implant \'99 age 9
          First ICD shock (X2) \'04
          ICD replacement surgery \'05 age 15

          *And aunt to 7 year old Kenny who had HCM and suffered sudden death in gym class. (2/20/87 - 4/6/94)
